Electric Skateboard – Generation x of other Transportation?
Couple of years ago I saw something on the internet that completely changed my life!
A youtube video about electric skateboards. Ever since then I have had a minimum of 3 different boards, which can be the maximum amount of a tribute to just how much I enjoy these babies. However because it is to their biggest weakness, they break easily. On the other hand still keep purchasing a new one or buying parts for the genuine ones.
“The electric skateboard was introduced by Californian Louis Finkle. Louis made the very first analogue electric skateboard in 1993. After that it took seven many years to make it to production, and thirteen years later it’s got yet to reach the tipping point where right now we ascend to the verge of mass popularity of electric skateboards”.
So what is so competent of a electric skateboard?
They’re extremely fast. We have been talking 20-25 mph and more. Beware!!!
Besides being fast, it’s incredible FUN!!!
Instead of having a car in short trips, Now i glide my way to the newspaper stand and back.
It seems like you’re flying extremely low. Once you zoom surrounding you tend to anticipate (obviously), meaning you never call at your feet. It somehow feels as though your gliding 6 inches off of the pavement.
The number is additionally quite decent. The furthest I got would be a 14 mile ride. After wards battery needed a complete charge up.
You control the board which has a pistol grip controller that controls the acceleration and regenerative braking. It’s pretty very easy to ride a electric skateboard even if you haven’t ridden a skateboard before. In my opinion, it is a lot easier than a regular skateboard while you will have both feet around the deck.
The only drawbacks from the electric skateboard are that they break fairly easily and go slowly up hills. The company I would recommend, E-Glide, carries a good warranty. Ninety day warranty for the board and electronics. 6 month battery warranty.
There are two companies who make these boards: Altered, formerly generally known as Exkate, and E-Glide. Altered boards have a very cool wireless controller, but the boards are made in China and also the customer support isn’t best.
E-Glide, conversely have become dedicated and care what they are selling. They give full attention to using only high quality components to build their electric skateboards. Furthermore they are the only electric skateboard company who doesn’t import premade powerboards from China.
I ride the E-Glide “44 Magnum” a Madrid board designed by Crossbow USA. Lots of concave, and delightful lines. At 44 inches long, it is just a Ferrari among electric skateboards.
Until someone invents the Hoverboard, these babies are it!!!
